Update: New School

First I would like to say THANKS for all your encouraging words. Your comments really did make me feel better. : )
Today was Alexa's second day and she is really liking it. She was super relaxed going this morning and I could tell she felt comfortable. She has made friends with another little girl named Alexa in her class. As most of you know, it is tough getting any information out of a "almost 4 year old". The first day she came home and told us that she was not served lunch, the girls did not ask her to play with them, and she sat alone all day and did nothing. Needless to say we were a little concerned but her teacher assured me that "Yes, of course she ate lunch, and that she had a great first day." I was relieved to say the least. It has been a little tough having her gone for such a long time but I am getting a lot done in that time period. I think this school is a really great fit for her. We are all glad that we made the change. : )

Glad she had a good day.

Katie is like pulling teeth to get info out of. Everyday, Dan and I try to find out what happened during her day at school. She does not like to give info. So at the dinner table, I will say...Oh I will tell you about my day. That usually gets her. Then she wants to tell about her day.

I'm so happy to hear that the new school is working out so well for Alexa! It is difficult to get kids to tell about their day, isn't it! Sounds like it's going to be a great fit for her.
