Harvest Moon Party

Last weekend we went to a Harvest Moon Party that was hosted by one of our Great Wall families that we get together with every now and then. We had a fun time. Two of the girls( one standing in pink & one in black dress) are also from Hubei. It was really fun to see all the girls running around and playing. Alexa had a great time!

Picture Day

Okay, mama's gotta brag....I thought Alexa looked so beautiful today. She wasn't my sassy girl, rockin girl or cute girl today. She was my beautiful girl. She had such poise this morning and I saw a new side of her. It was like she was saying "I'm proud to be me!" She just took my breath away.

On a differnent note, I'm glad I took some photos because the photographer at school sure didn't get any. I guess she freaked out and was like, "no way"..sort of like the hair cut. So, no school pictures this year.

Pizza Party at School!!!

Tonight was our pizza party at school and boy was Alexa excited. She put on her party beads and off we went. When we walked in the Parish Center and she saw all the balloons, tables and food she said " Ohhhh, it's a party!" Our girl is not shy. After eating 3 slices of pizza and a piece of cake off she went to sit with her teachers, Miss Jodi and Miss Karen. She made friends with Miss Jodi's eight year old daughter , took her hand and led her around the room for about 30 minutes. She played a little with another friend and worked the party! We love our school and are very happy there, as is Alexa.
